I photographed Rice Pasta Couscous just as I did La Paella: Deliciously Authentic Rice Dishes from Spain’s Mediterranean Coast
and will do with The Country Cooking of Spain.
Other cookbooks I have photographed include Teresa Barrenechea’s The Cuisines of Spain, which was a 2006 IACP Cookbook Award Finalist in the international category, and Braiden Rex-Johnson’s Pike Place Market Seafood Cookbook.
My photos have been published in Saveur, Men’s Journal, Dwell, the Atlantic Monthly on-line, Los Angeles Times, Christian Science Monitor, and Foods From Spain News.
After years of working with the rich, organic tones of film (Provia 100F almost exclusively) I finally switched to digital. I use a Canon 5D Mark ii and have begun to travel more with just a 24-105 F4 L lens. That said, I still frequently use my 50 and 100 macros lenses.
